A moist and delicious chocolate chip cookie named after the goddess Isis. It is laden with chocolate chips so there is delight in every bite!

Ingredients:

2 1/8 cups of All Purpose Flour

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

1 cup Unsalted Butter (2 sticks)

¾ cup firmly packed Brown Sugar

¾ cup Granulated Sugar

2 large Eggs

1 teaspoon Vanilla

1 cup finely ground Walnuts

2 ½ cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips

The goddess insists on exact measurements and lines cookie trays with parchment to avoid burning bottoms of cookies.

Baking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Let butter and eggs sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Line the cookie trays with parchment paper.
Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
Cream butter; add granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and eggs.
Add dry ingredients, beating gently. Add walnuts and gently mix in chocolate chips.
Drop rounded mounds of the dough onto the parchment (about the size of a tablespoon or use a 1 ½ inch diameter scoop).
Bake 9 ½ minutes until edges are slightly golden brown. Leave on the cookie sheets for a few hours where they will continue cookie ever so gently and firm up but still be soft and moist.
Transfer to airtight containers. Cookies may be frozen.
